So, I had Blair post the definition of a hemangioma, because apparently I have one in my spine, grown in the bone, and no one told me till I recently had my doctors' nurse print of some results of an MRI I had done last Jan.! WOW - so maybe that is why I am in constant pain!

Jarrett went to Cub Camp

Jarrett attended Galaxy Quest Cub Scout Camp back in June, so here's a look at his day in the Canyon.

Andrew is now an Eagle Scout!

We'd like to thanks Grandma and Grandpa Walker, the Karsten/Julie family, the Kayla/Eric family, Grandma Lyon, the Cindy/Aaron family for helping with/attending Andrew's Eagle Scout Court of Honor the past Saturday! We rented the Lodge at Camp Tracy (Andrew's summer job), which is a lovely setting in Millcreek Canyon. All in all, the ceremony went pretty well, but mostly we are so very preoud of Andrew for this great achievement - all the camps, merit badge classes, and the final Project finally paid off!

Treyson Goes to Scout Camp

Treyson spent three days at Camp Tracy, the New Scout camp here in the SL area (up Milcreek Canyon), working on his Tenderfooot, 2nd, and 1st Class ranks. This camp is also where Andrew has been working all this summer (more on that later). On the second day, his patrol camped overnight at the highest occupied area of the camp, and it was so hot they had a hard time getting to sleep - can you imagine? I went along all three days, including the 5-mile hike up and down one of the nearby peaks, with Andrew as one of the guides. Andrew was working in the Knots section, so he decided to tie us to a tree (anything for a photo op, no?).
